This week, our client and leading Swiss bank UBS has launched the edutainment game Quiz and Fly on which we have been working on for the last couple of months. Quiz and Fly is a mobile game, combining a skill-based action part and a knowledge quiz.
With the Quiz and Fly game app everyone can develop their flying skills and general knowledge. In your role as pilot you fly all over the world. The better you can fly, and the more you know, the further the overall journey goes. New aircrafts, destinations and achievements can be unlocked with your collected coins and miles. Your collected miles can be compared to those of other players, and your achievements can be shared with friends via Facebook and Twitter.
Gbanga Millform AG created the concept, designed the user experience and graphics and implemented the game in 3D. Tools used include 3D modelling software Blender, game engine Unity and a linux server for leaderboard and question catalogue management.
The app Quiz and Fly was available for iOS and Android, free of charge until 2017.
