Between June 20th and July 10th, all Gbanga players are welcome to participate in the Gbanga Spocal Quest, which is a real-world 'capture the flag' game between the two main Zurich institutes of education: the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), and the University of Zurich. You will be competing alongside the students over virtual territory that is linked to the real-world locations of each university.
The goal is to take-over and maintain control over the flag locations for as long as possible. You will score 10 points for your team for every 10min that your team's flag is defended against rival attacks. By taking-over rival flags you will score an incredible 100 team points for every 10min of control! In addition, you and your team will each earn 1 point for every establishment that you take over in the Gbanga world.
Top players can check their individual player ranking on the leaderboard.
The winner are invited to celebrate their victory with a BBQ at the Gbanga Headquarters in Zurich.
You already have Gbanga: Taking part in the Gbanga Spocal Quest is easy. If you've already been playing Gbanga, just add DonETH or DonUniZH as a friend via Friends Mode. After that you will be assigned to your new team.
You don’t have Gbanga: If you don’t yet have Gbanga running on your mobile phone, you need only to download the app, register and follow the steps above. For more information about Gbanga visit our Help section or write to support@gbanga.com.
Please note that existing Gbanga players that decided to join the quest will leave their current Famiglia and bring their establishments into the competition. Players can return to their original Famiglia once the Gbanga Spocal Quest has come to a close.
