Mobile Development Wizard (100%)

Your tasks

Together with our interdisciplinary and international team, you're going to work fully motivated and self-directed on all aspects of the project- from concept to implementation. You're working on the following tasks:

• Concept and road-map for mobile platform strategy
• Evaluation of technology (libraries, integrated development tools, etc.)
• Specify requirements for mobile platforms, based on existing code
• Supervise mobile development projects for different platforms
• Prioritize usability issues and find solutions for them
• Iterative adaption of the UI based on usability tests
• Maintain existing code-base (eg. adding new features, fixing minor and serious bugs)
• Managing software related user requests
• Collaborative work with the art team, the game designer and the in-house engineers
• Explain technical problems and solutions in a concise and structured way, both to engineering staff and to non-engineers
• Welcoming and introducing new team members
• Presenting your projects internally and externally

Your profile

You are an enthusiastic developer with a flair for usability, readiness of mind and the necessary liveliness to accomplish things fast and pragmatic. You are agnostic to platforms and willing to investigate exotic platforms. You are a self-directed learner, you are able to properly evaluate different tools and you work well in a team to create tangible results. Besides technical expertise, you also have management skills. You're an honest, no-bullshit person. A passion for all types of games is a plus. You speak English and/or German.

The following subjects are nothing new to you: Android, Bada, BlackBerry/RIM, C/C++, Continuous Integration, CSS, Eclipse, HTML5, iOS, Java, JavaScript, Linux, Lua, Networking/Sockets, Objective-C, OpenGLES, Scrum, Unit Tests, WebHooks, WebOS.
